Steps For Life, Inc. is a 501c3 charity that provides transitional housing and life skill training for elderly, women with addiction, and victims of domestic violence. According to The National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), approximately 7.27 percent of Georgia residents reported past-month use of illicit drugs.
Our programs are focused on reaching out elderly or low-income women facing the problems of addiction, homelessness, and former incarceration and helping them give the break they need. Specifically, we aim at concentrating on reaching out to these at risk women or elderly through providing transitional housing, job training, social, emotional support, and one-on-one mentor ship that will help them flourish into the self-sufficient contributing member of society.
We will focus on the Carroll County metropolitan area and individuals in our target audience who are located within this general vicinity. The basic idea is to ensure that individuals that completed detoxification have the tools they need to successfully make a transition from the streets towards become productive members of society.
We are fully supportive of our residents
while offering a family oriented atmosphere for recovery and revitalization all over the country.
